PURPOSE:To ensure the endless reproduction having no interruption nor disturbance to the reproduced pictures by performing the recording while shifting the recording position to another track with a skip action within a vertical blanking period. CONSTITUTION:The signal of the 1st frame is recorded on a track T1 among those tracks T1-T12 on a recording medium. Then a head is shifted to skip a track to record the signal of the 2nd frame on the track T3. In the same way, the first half of all video signals to be reproduced endlessly is recorded while skipping the tracks every second one. Thus the 6th frame is recorded on the track T11. Then the 7th frame is recorded on the track T12. Then the recording is carried out every second track by shifting the head in the opposite direction, and finally the 12th frame is recorded on the track T2. As a result, the 1st frame can be immediately reproduced by having a skip action after the 12th frame is reproduced. |
