<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the excess temperature rise of a thrust bearing upon load operation by providing a suction valve, opened and closed by a difference between a suction pressure and a pressure in the compressor, at a suction port. CONSTITUTION:Upon the normal operation, the valve 23 of the suction valve 19 is pushed up, refrigerant is induced into a swash plate chamber 11 to lubricate the thrust bearings 8, 8', lubricating oil is separated in oil separating chambers 12, 12', and the refrigerant is introduced into a low pressure chambers 14, 14' through paths 13, 13' while the lubricating oil lubricates the thrust bearings 8, 8' and the like through a hole 31, a pipe 28, a path 15, a chamber 16 and holes 17, 18, 18'. Upon negative pressure operation, in which the side of suction becomes vacuum, the valve 23 of the suction valve 19 is closed, the refrigerant enters into a spare path 24, a path 27 and a pipe 28 and a slide valve 29 is pushed down to close a hole 31, therefore, the lubricating oil lubricates the thrust bearings 8, 8' through the path 15, a chamber 16 and holes 17, 18, 18' and flows into the swash plate chamber 11.</p> |
