An electrophotoconductor of high sensitivity and durability comprising a photosensitive layer containing an indoline compound of the general formula <IMAGE> wherein A represents an aromatic hydrocarbon or aromatic heterocyclic group which may have a substituent, and R1 and R2, independently from each other, represent a hydrogen or halogen atom, or an alkyl, aralkyl or aryl group.
