PURPOSE:To obtain an oriented polyester film with little surface defect by improving adhesion between a sheetlike substance and the surface of a rotary cooling material, by compounding a specific wt. part zinc compound per polymer in metal conversion quantity into polyester. CONSTITUTION:It is necessary to compound a 0.0001-0.02pt.wt. zinc compound per 100pt.wt polymer in metal conversion quantity within polyester and far desirably a 0.007-0.014pt.wt. zinc compound is compounded. When a quantity of the zinc compound is too small, an effect in an improvement in manufacturing speed of a film is not obtained and when the same is too large, a color tone of the polymer is worsened and a yellowish film is obtained, which are not desirable. Then when the quantity of the zinc compound is too large, it is not desirable to manufacture the film at high efficiency as it follows that frequency of arc discharge is rather increased. |
