PURPOSE:To aim at improvements in the simplification of a battery structure as well as in sealability, by making a lead bushing get forcibly pressed to a cover through hole via an O-ring, while caulking both of a bushing flange part top and a bushing a lower part with a jig. CONSTITUTION:A terminal part 2 is solidly installed together with a lead bushing 1 provided with a concave part, in which an O-ring is inserted, on its outer surface and at the upper part of the bushing 1, a swivel-stop concave part 6 is installed in the underside of a flange part 5, while a projecting stripe 7 is installed in the opening end of a through hole 4. On the other hand, another through hole 9 for a plastic cover 8 provided at the through hole 9 consisting of a sleeve part 10 projecting inward to be inserted in with the bushing 1 has a stepped part in its inner part, and on this stepped part, there is a nonslip projection 14 to be fitted in the concave part 6 installed in the bushing flange part 5 and furthermore there is provided with each of projecting stripes 11 and 11' forming grooves 12 at the lower part of the sleeve part 10. With this constitution, the retention of sealability can be improved by leaps and bounds. |
