PURPOSE:To obtain an endoscope of versatile structure by a sensor wherein a glass fiber is commonly used for both emission and reflection, and an emitting light source is located at a detection point for the reflected light or a light emitting device is located in a position at which an image of the object is focused. CONSTITUTION:A condensing light conductive system (b') such as a lens is located between a sensor (a) serving also as a light source and an input/output point of an optical fiber cable (b). In case of an endoscope, the positional relationship between an object (c) and the sensor (a) is set such that, for example, images (g-e) at entrance of the optical fiber cable (b) are produced in positions (d-f) on the sensor (a). At this time, images of light sources distributed between the positions (d-f) on the sensor (a) are focused just between the images (g-e) at entrance of the optical fiber cable (b). When it is set such that images of (g'-e') on the object (c) are produced in positions (d-f) on the sensor (a), images of the light sources distributed between the positions (d-f) on the sensor (a) are focused just between (g'-e') on the object (c). If the position of the condensing light conductive system (b') is adjusted while looking at the images in the direction indicated by (f'), illuminance is also automatically adjusted in accordance with magnification of images of (a) and (c), thus resulting in a versatile endoscope. |
