A circular saw with improved vibrational properties, in which saw the saw teeth are arranged in an odd number in a plurality of segments, which segments each contain a relatively fixed region and a relatively flexible region which is produced by varying the tooth spacing. The spacing between two adjacent teeth is varied preferably randomly in order to reduce harmonic vibration.
