PURPOSE:To check a voltage drop in time of discharge as well as to aim at a distinct improvement in battery power, by constituting a plate with use of a grid body being joined in polymerization by orthogonalizing the longitudinal length of each mesh of both first and second expanded meshes of a grid substrate. CONSTITUTION:A grid body 7 is made up of those joined with an upper collector part 3, a lug part 8 formed on the former and a second expanded mesh 10 polymerized on a grid substrate 9 having a lower collector part 4 and a first expanded mesh 2 solidly as one body. The first expanded mesh 2 has a rhombic mesh 1 whose longitudinal length is made to direct toward its horizontal direction, while the second expanded mesh 10 has the same contour form as the grid substrate 9, and the second expanded mesh is polymerized on the substrate 9, through which an intersection point between both these first and second meshes is joined together by welding or the like through a laser beam and so on. With this constitution, not only the dropout of an active material from the grid body can be prevented but also battery power can be improved. |
