PURPOSE:To enhance outflow capability of a main flow in a valve and to prevent the occurrence of cavitation in the valve by erecting a lot of bar members curved along an S-shaped main streamline in the valve extending over the total periphery of a ring-shaped valve seat. CONSTITUTION:A partition wall 4 for partitioning into two chambers on a fluid inlet 2 side and on a fluid outlet 3 side is disposed in a valve enclosure 1, and a ring-shaped valve seat 5 is fixed to an opening 4a of the partition wall 4 through a pressure ring 6. A valve body 7 is disposed opposite to the above valve seat 5, and a valve shaft 7a is pierced through a cover 8. In this arrangement, a lot of bar members 10 curved along an S-shaped main streamline in a valve are erected at upper and lower end portions of the ring-shaped valve seat 5 extending over the total periphery thereof. Thus, a main flow between the valve body 7 and the valve seat 5 is surrounded by a lot of bar members 10 to promote flow in the valve, thereby improving outflow capability and producing a rectifying effect. |
