A hydraulic servo brake device for vehicles is proposed, which has a hydraulic brake booster (10) with accumulator (11) and storage reservoir (12) for the system fluid. The servo brake device is connected to a power steering device (14) to form a single system circuit, the pump (16) serving on the one hand for the pressure supply of the steering gear (15) of the power steering device (14) and simultaneously on the other for the pressure supply of the brake booster (10) with accumulator (11) of the servo brake device (13). The one pressure line (21) leading to the steering gear (15) and the other pressure line (19) leading to the brake booster (10), which are both fed by way of the pump (16), and the intake line (23) returning to the pump (16) all carry the same system fluid, that is brake fluid common to all. The storage reservoir (12) of the servo brake device (13) is expanded into a fluid reservoir (27) of greater capacity common to the two devices, to which reservoir the intake line (23) of the pump (16) is connected. The return line (24) of the steering gear (15) is connected to the intake line (23). The expanded fluid reservoir (27) retains the shape and design of a brake fluid reservoir so that any risk of confusion is avoided (Fig.1).
