PURPOSE:To enable span adjustment only by setting a ratio, by providing a ratio setting switch for setting the span of a metering mechanism so as to coincide the same with a reference span. CONSTITUTION:A reference load cell and a reference substrate are connected to measure the output Do in a load free state and the output DF in such a full load state that a wt. corresponding to total load is placed while DF-Do is operated to calculate a reference span Ds. In the next step, a load cell of which the span is unknown is connected to the reference substrate and, similarily, DS'=DF'-DO' is calculated to adhere a seal S on which the ratio C=DS/DS' is displayed. When the ratio C is set to a ratio setting switch 5 on the basis of the seal S, the output of a load cell 3 is corrected so as to be made same to the output of the reference load cell and can be displayed by a display device 9. |
