PURPOSE:To obtain a crystal oscillator which makes on spurious response and, therefore, has the linearity of frequency variation width to an applied voltage by arranging circular electrodes with a specific diameter around an AT cut crystal plate. CONSTITUTION:Circular electrodes 2 and 2' having a diameter phil of (41-45)/ f0<3/4> (f0; necessary oscillation frequency) are arranged oppositely on both flat surfaces on the basis of the center of the AT cut crystal plate 1 which is in a flat disk shape and performs thickness-sliding oscillation. Consequently, no spurious response in secondary in-harmonic mode in a Z'-axis direction is generated, and the linearity of frequency variation width to the applied voltage is therefore obtained. |
