PURPOSE:To turn over a sheet metal work in a small space and by a small turning force by arranging on the facing side of two pillars clamping plates with grooves in their diameter directions for holding the work so that the plates can be swung repeatedly. CONSTITUTION:Clamping plates 2 are supported by shafts 3 fixed to pillars 1 so that the plates can be swung repeatedly by piston rods 5 of cylinders 6. Both ends of a sheet metal work 16 are held in grooves 9 made in the directions of diameters of the clamping plates 2. The clamping plates 2 are provided with clamping devices 10 moved by cylinders 11 perpendicularly to the grooves 9 and the work 16 is pressed against the grooves 9 and clamped by these clamping devices before turnover. By so doing, the work is turned over by the stretching and contracting of the rods 5. |
