PURPOSE:To provide a sufficient die depth irrespective of the magnitude of a die-stamping area, by a method wherein a die-stamping ring is constituted of a main body part and a plurality of die blocks each of which includes a die part, and each of the die blocks is fitted to the main body part through a spacer having an optimum thickness. CONSTITUTION:The die-stamping ring 16 is constituted of the main body part 41 and a plurality of die blocks 42 provided at the periphery of the main body part 41. Each of the die blocks 42 is provided at its tip part with the die part 24 such as a character, a numeral, a symbol or the like, and is fitted to a peripheral part 41a of the main body part 41 by clamping plates 43 and a bolt 44 engaged to the main body part 41. In this case, the spacer 45 having a thickness corresponding to the die area is intermediately provided between the die block 42 and the peripheral part 41a of the main body part 41. Namely, a thin spacer is provided for the die block having a small die area such as ''1'', and a thick spacer is provided for the die block having a large die area such as ''Q''. |
