PURPOSE:To carry out smoothly the transport of prereduced ores by connecting directly a transporting pipe with an ore discharging port of a prereducing furnace and a tuyere blasting branch of a melting and reducing furnace, and providing a rotary feeder at the position where a specified condition is satisfied in midway of the transporting pipe. CONSTITUTION:A transporting pipe 6 is connected with a prereduced ore discharging port 5 of a prereducing furnace 2 and a tuyere blasting branch 8 of a melting and reducing furnace 3, and a rotary feeder or a screw conveyer 7 is provided on the midway of said pipe 6 to feed a prescribed amount of graular body and to supply to said branch 8. The position where the rotary feeder 7 is provided, is decided so as to satisfy a relation to Rore>DELTAP, wherein Rore is a gas seal resistance of prereduced ores in said pipe 6 between the rotary feeder 7 and said port 5, DELTAP is a pressure difference between the blast gas pressure of said furnace 3 and the pressure at said port 5. |
