PURPOSE:To obtain a uniform gap without breaking an integrated circuit on a substrate by using glass fibers as spacers for a liq. crystal display device contg. a nematic liq. crystal. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed glass fibers 7 are dispersed on a silicon array substrate 3, and vibration is applied to the substrate 3 by a suitable means to transfer the glass fibers 7 on a projected transistor 13 for switching to other place. A glass substrate 1 is then pressbonded to the substrate 3. Thus, a prescribed gap is obtd. |
