<p>PURPOSE:To enhance regeneration efficiency for regenerating a deactivated desulfurizing agent as a desulfurizing agent by desorbing sulfur oxide therefrom, in performing dry desulfurization treatment of a sulfur compound contained in exhaust gas, by using iron oxide having chromium oxide added thereto as the desulfurizing agent. CONSTITUTION:As a dry adsorbent for removing H2S from exhaust gas containing a sulfur compound such as H2S, one prepared by adding Cr2O3 to a desulfurizing agent containing Fe2O3 in such a ratio that Cr/Fe (atomic ratio) is 0.07-0.28 to Fe2O3 is used. This desulfurizing agent is fast in such a speed that the desulfurizing agent containing iron sulfide formed by the adsorption of the sulfur compound such as H2S is heated to release SO2 and regenerated as the Fe2O3-desulfurizing agent and excellent in regeneration efficiency to the desulfurizing agent.</p> |
