PURPOSE:To improve the road-damage preventing effect by specifying the width of a lug, interval in the peripheral direction and the inclination angle of lug plane on a tire stepping-in side on the lugs arranged right and left in the direction of tire width from a projecting rib formed in the center division of a tread reinforced with carcass. CONSTITUTION:A tire T is equipped with a projecting rib 2 having a height of h1 in the peripheral direction in the tread center division of a tire body 1. Said rib 2 has a small width of W1 in consideration of the stability in straight advance on traveling and has cut parts 2a and projection parts 2b on the outer periphery so as to be discontinuous in the peripheral direction. The lugs 3 which push-out relatively largely in the direction of width from the projecting rib 2 are formed to the right and left. Each lug 3 is formed so that the width W2 is 1.5-3.0 times half of the max. tire width W0 and the interval h2 in the peripheral direction is 2.5-4.5 W0. The inclination angle alpha of the lug plane 3a on the stepping-in side of the tire T is set within a range of 10-50 deg. with respect to the normal line of the tire.
