PURPOSE:To determine a driving direction of a driving means basing on the driving direction of the driving means and a shift direction from a detecting means, which are prescribed clearly to a photographic lens for which the driving means drives a focusing lens in the feed-out direction. CONSTITUTION:In case of having a focus adjusting mechanism by which a focusing lens FL of a photographic lens is fed out by a clockwise rotation of a motor MO of a camera body side, a terminal (c) of a discriminating circuit 109 is at High. In this case, in case of a front focus, terminals (a), (b) of a motor driving circuit MDR are at Low and High, and in case of a rear focus, they are at High and Low. Accordingly, in case of the front focus, the motor MO rotates counter-clockwise and the focusing lens FL is fed in. Also, in case of the rear focus, the motor MO rotates clockwise and the focusing lens FL is fed out. Subsequently, in case of having a focus adjusting mechanism by which the focusing lens FL is fed out by a counterclockwise rotation of the motor MO of the camera body side, the terminal (c) of the discriminating circuit 109 is Low. In this case, the device operates in the opposite way to the foregoing, and moves the lens to a focused position. |
