PURPOSE:To prevent without fail any danger due to misoperation of a control switch during car running before it happens, by inhibiting all the operation of the control switch through a control switch operation inhibitive device when a car speed goes beyond the specified value. CONSTITUTION:In case of a device turning a cable winding member round in both cw and ccw directions by controlling a motor 5 and making a parking brake operate or release via a cable, a group of sensors detecting a car driving state such as a car speed sensor 11 and so on are connected to a controller C which controls the motor 5. Also, a control switch F consisting of an automatic control switch 33, a manual brake operation control switch 23 and a manual brake release control switch 24 is connected to the controller C. When a car speed to be obtained from the car speed sensor 11 is above the specified value, operation of the control switch F is so designed as to be inhibited at a control processing unit (CPU) 25 so that safety from the standpoint of drivability is thus improved. |
