The device comprises several superimposed horizontal reflecting sheets 6 in the shape of gutters which are concave upwards and whose inner and outer parts 6c, 6a (i.e. those turned towards the sun) are inclined to the horizontal at an angle a corresponding roughly to the mean height of the sun above the horizon, these sheets 6 defining between them channels for the input of solar flux into a room by successive reflection of the light rays at the sheets and preventing any radiation of heat from the inside of the room to the outside. <IMAGE>
