PURPOSE:To improve the positioning speed in the positioning control by shortening the control time when a step motor is stopped in one phase exciting state. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 2 is stopped at the position III, the exciting coil 3 of phase A and the exciting coil 4 of phase B are excited. Then, the exciting of the coil 3 of phase A is stopped. Subsequently, the exciting of the coil 4 of phase B is interrupted during the time (t). In this manner, kinetic energy applied to the rotor 2 can be reduced, thereby eliminating a large overshot, and the shortening of the time until reaching the stable operation is resulted. |
