This device comprises a detection circuit consisting essentially, on the one hand, of three voltage comparators 40, 42, 44 delivering logic signals indicating respectively the opening of a detector or the cutting of the line F+C, the existence of a cut in the line C, the existence of an earth fault M, and, on the other hand, of gate logic 46, 48, 50 making it possible to deliver a signal indicating the opening of a detector due to the fire F and a signal indicating the presence of a fault D. The device is completed by control circuits 62, 64, by various warning elements and/or protection elements. c.
