The heat-transmitting device comprises an evaporation chamber 1, with a coaxial evaporator 3 made from a capillary material impregnated with a heat-transfer medium in contact with a heat source, and a condensation chamber 4. The evaporator 3 has channels for discharging the vapour, connected to the vapour collector 11 and an axial longitudinal channel 7, communicating with enclosures 5, 6, delimited by an end surface of the evaporator 3 and by the walls of the chamber 1. The said discharge channels are longitudinal slots 9 and annular grooves 10 arranged on the external surface of the evaporator 3 between smooth annular shoulders 23. The chamber 4 is in the form of a ferrule 14 inside which there is mounted coaxially another ferrule so as to form a space 16, isolated from the surrounding medium, the cross-section of which decreases in the direction of the movement of the vapour through the space. <IMAGE>
