<p>NEW MATERIAL:7-Amino-3-(6-hydroxypyridazine-3-ylthiomethyl)-3-cephem-4-car boxylic acid (salt) shown by the formulaIor its easily hydrolyzable ester. USE:An intermediate for a scavenger for an animal feed and an antibiotic for remedying animal infectious diseases. PROCESS:7-Aminocephalosporanic acid or its salt is reacted with 3-hydroxy-6- mercaptopyridazine shown by the formula II or its salt to give a compound shown by the formulaI. If necessary, this compound is converted into its salt or easily hydrolyzable ester salt. This compound can be acylated with an acid shown by the formula III (B is amino-protecting group; m is 0 or 1; X is 0 or OH) to give an antibiotic.</p> |
