PURPOSE:To reproduce a color of high quality by a small-sized device by forming an electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive body by a photoscanning mechanism consisting of LED arrays and self-convergent lens arrays. CONSTITUTION:The photoscanning mechanism 4 consists of LED arrays 2 and self-convergent lens arrays 3. An optical image corresponding to a red signal is written by the photoscanning mechanism 4 in a photosensitive body 1 which is charged electrostatically uniformly, developed with red toner in a developing machine 5M, and transferred to a recording form; and the photosensitive body 1 is cleaned up and blue, yellow, and black light image are written repeatedly. The device is sized small because of the use of the LED array scanning system, and the light intensity and light emission time of each LED dot are controlled easily, so that a color image of high quality is reproduced. |
