In a circuit arrangement for coin-operated time meters with power supply, integrated circuit (IC) with connections to the power supply, timer, starting pulse and time duration switching and outputs D to I for the respective time doubling, a diode is connected in the collective line of the clock outputs. At the cathode end of the diode, an advance value is derived and supplied to a switching amplifier which drives a light-emitting diode, and the time sequence can be interrupted without loss of useful time, and in which the timing can be varied as a function of the current flow by means of an analog/frequency converter.
