The invention relates to an attachment element consisting of two half-shell-shaped anchoring elements which can be pushed together axially, are inclined running parallel on their sliding surfaces pointing towards one another and overlap in a mutually complementary manner to form a circular cross-section. In order that the attachment element can subsequently expand, for example in a hole which expands as a result of the formation of cracks, arranged on the one anchoring element in an extension of its smallest cross-section is a flap having a perforation in which wires, perforated strips or the like can be suspended and which is broader than the diameter of the hole which holds the attachment element.
