PURPOSE:To reduce the variation in quantity of steam in the process by calculating the opening of a low pressure regulation valve with respect to the condensate flow rate of an extraction condensing turbine and controlling the low pressure regulation valve as to make the difference between the target value of the opening and an actual opening of said valve within a specified range. CONSTITUTION:The steam from a steam source is supplied to high pressure and low pressure turbines 5 and 6 via respective high pressure and low pressure regulation valves 7 and 8 while a part of the steam from the high pressure turbine 5 is supplied to a process steam line 9. Monitor switches 19 and 20 are provided in a low pressure regulation valve opening transmitter 21 and transfer devices 15 and 16 are operated when the maximum and minimum flow rates of condensate are detected, to select the opening set signals from function generators 17 and 18. The selected signal is compared with the actual valve opening of the low pressure regulation valve by a comparator 14 and a governor 11 is then actuated via a regulator 13 and a governor motor 12. Thus, the process steam variation may be reduced, with a result that the low pressure regulation valve will not be mechanically caught by a stopper even in case the condensate may flow at the maximum or the minimum rate. |
