Actuating device for movable closing parts for the selective closing or opening of apertures, especially for sliding roofs, slide-and-lift roofs or windows of motor vehicles. There is at least one displacement device which is drive-connected to the closing part and which is connected via a cable holder to one end of a drive cable having a core and a spiral winding attached to the latter. The core is inserted through an orifice of the cable holder and is held in engagement with the latter via at least one lead seal attached to the drive cable.
