The invention relates to an adjustable accessory ram, especially sleeve-pressing ram for a form-pressing appliance for the smoothing treatment of the upper sleeve region on the shoulder part of articles of outer clothing and the like, in which preferably devices for heating, steaming and air inlet and outlet are provided, the accessory ram being equipped with a slide, especially a guide tube, which is displaceable in the form-pressing appliance in such a way that the accessory ram is retractable and extendable in the form-pressing appliance in the region of the sleeve attachment, and furthermore the accessory ram having at least two ram plates, movable relative to one another essentially parallel to its sleeve-pressing surface, for adaptation to different arm-hole diameters of an article of outer clothing to be pressed. According to the invention, the two ram plates are spread apart from one another resiliently and are movable by hand and/or by means of an actuating device counter to the resilient spreading force into their position in which they are spread apart the least.
