PURPOSE:To make the temperature at ceiling portion and that at floor portion nearly uniform at all times by a method wherein both the heating with heat performed at the early stage of room heating and the heat utilization operation to utilize the heat at the upper portion in a room developed by said heating are made possible. CONSTITUTION:When the heating of a room 4 is done because of low temperature in the room 4, a solenoid valve 20 is open and a solenoid valve 22 is closed by means of a temperature detecting element 23 which detects said low temperature. Consequently, refrigerant sequentially flows through a compressor 7, a second heat exchanger 17, the solenoid valve 20, a first heat exchanger 15, a throttling resistance part 9, an outdoor heat exchanger 8 and back to the compressor 7. At this time, the first and second heat exchangers 15 and 17 act as condensers while the outdoor heat exchanger 8 acts as an evaporator and the room 4 is heated with heat by operating blowers 16 and 18. When the temperature at the upper portion in the room 4 reaches a predetermined temperature, the solenoid valve 20 is closed and the solenoid valve 22 is open by means of the temperature detecting element 23. Consequently, because refrigerant flows a course indicated with a dash line and accordingly a throttling resistance 19 is brought into action while the outdoor heat exchanger 8 and the throttling resistance part 9 are brought out of action, the second heat exchanger 17 acts as a condenser while the first heat exchanger 15 acts as an evaporator. A bypass circuit 21 bypasses the outdoor heat exchanger 8 and the throttling resistance part 9. |
