PURPOSE:To enhance the volumetric efficiency of a hot water storage tank and supply steam of an arbitrary temperature by arranging in series a plurality of flashers which are provided at the hot water outlet of the hot water storage tank and a steam compressor whose outlet side is connected to a steam using installation. CONSTITUTION:When the thermal energy inside a storage tank 2 is used at the time of the peak loading, a valve 7 is opened to supply hot water into the first flasher 9, in which middle pressure steam 11 is generated and from which the hot water is supplied into the second flasher 12. The low pressure steam 15 is generated in the second flasher 12 and sent along with the middle pressure steam 11 into relating pressure parts of a steam compressor 18 and then compressed to form a steam having a specified temperature and a specified pressure, which is supplied to a steam using installation. The hot water in the second flasher 12 is, on the other hand, reduced in temperature below the boiling temperature at the atmospheric pressure and sent through a piping 17 into a storage tank. When a valve 28 is opened, the hot water is sent into a mixer 27 so as to regulate the over-heated degree of the supplied steam. The rate of the quantity of generated steam with respect to the capacity of the hot water storage tank may be increased, thereby improving the volumetric efficiency. |
