PURPOSE:To permit to effect clean air conditioning for a long period of time by a method wherein the frame section of an air filter, opposing to an air suction port, is impregnated with fungusproofing agent to prevent the net section of the filter, which is integral with the frame section, from generating fungus or the like. CONSTITUTION:An air filter 13 is constituted of a frame section 13a and a net section 13b while the net section 13b passes air to remove dust. The frame section 13a is formed by synthetic resin impregnated with fungusproofing agent. In such constitution, the removed dust or the like is adhered to the net section 13b and the circumstance of the net section is in a condition that fungus is easily generated, however, the fungus will never be generated by the effect of the fungusproofing agent, impregnated into the frame section 13a. Even when the dust is washed by water, the deterioration of fungusproofing effect is small since the fungusproofing agent is impregnated into the synthetic resin. On the other hand, labor to make the air filter may be reduced. It is preferable to form recesses and protrusions on the surface of the frame section 13a to increase the surface area of the frame section 13a and increase the fungusproofing effect. |
