Coin-operated machine or part thereof such as, for example, a video game, a gaming machine, an entertainment machine with pay-out or a change machine, equipped with a store for receiving an inserted or discharged amount of money. In one version, the money can be extracted by opening a door in the safety cabinet which contains the game. The opening of the door is detected in the store, so that an indication of the money made available for extraction is given. In another exemplary embodiment, a motor-driven funnel for the pay-out is used so that the total quantity or a particular amount of money in the machine can be paid out to an authorised person who activates a key-, code- or card-actuated security means, without the need for access to the money in the machine. Preferably, there is provided in the machine a printer, by means of which the money extracted from the machine and the time of extraction are recorded, and by means of which a subsequent print-out of the money which has passed through the machine is possible. The machine can be accommodated either in a one-piece housing with a safety closure or with a housing or it can be made in two pieces, in such a way that one part receives the coin devices together with the central unit and the other part the entertainment section of the machine, the two parts being connected functionally to one another. |
