Wheel suspension spring strut for the steered wheels of a motor vehicle, especially a passenger motor vehicle, with a telescopic shock absorber, the upper piston rod end of which is pivoted by way of a rubber-elastic bearing on the vehicle body and the bottom cylinder tube end of which - where necessary with the insertion of an outer container tube - is connected to the wheel carrier, and with a helical spring arranged next to the piston rod of the telescopic shock absorber and serving for vehicle suspension, the bottom end of which spring is supported on a bottom spring plate, which is positively connected to a carrying sleeve concentrically enclosing the cylinder or container tube, the bottom end of which sleeve is fixed by way of a bottom bearing essentially absorbing axial forces and the upper end of which is fixed by way of an upper bearing, essentially absorbing radial forces, on the cylinder or container tube to permit rotation about the longitudinal axis of the telescopic shock absorber. <IMAGE>
