A sanitary napkin for receiving excretions includes a flat, elongate water absorbing napkin body. That part of the napkin body which contacts the excretory organs is formed with a recess which serves as an excretion receiving space to enhance the absorptivity and to increase the capacity of the napkin. The napkin can be conveniently used to receive menstrual blood, urine or feces. |
