<p>A cutting guide comprises an inclined surface (3) provided with a rest (10). A tube (7) having a guide slot (8) is secured to the inclined surface (3) by screws (18) which extend through circumferentially extending slots (19) in the tube (7). The distance between the cutting edge (6) and the leading edge (4) of the cutting guide is normally equal to the distance between the leading edge (4) of the cutting guide and the trailing edge (5) of the rest (10). However, the position of the guide slot (8) may be varied by slackening screws (18) and rotating the tube (7) about its longitudinal axis. In use the trailing edge (5) of the rest is inserted in a corner and the material to be cut is lead over the leading edge (4), up the inclined surface (3) and over the tube (7). The material is then cut by a razor knife passed along slot (8). The cut material is either a perfect fit on the corner, or slightly larger or slightly shorter according to the chosen position of tube (7). <IMAGE></p> |
