PURPOSE:To contrive to reduce heat to be generated to a lead-out conductor, and to strengthen the construction of the connecting part of the metal sheet and the lead-out conductor of a foil winding transformer by a method wherein the edge parts of the metal sheet are folded up at the central part of the winding. CONSTITUTION:After the last winding work of a winding, both the upper and lower edges of a metal sheet 18 are bent obliquely toward the center of the metal sheet. Then, out of the obliquely bent parts, becuase a part 30 whereat the metal sheet 18 is not formed to two-ply completely, and a part whereat the upper and lower edge parts of the metal sheet 18 are formed to three-ply after the sheet is bent are generated, the part 31 formed to three-ply is cut to be removed, and the whole is made to two-ply. A lead-out conductor 17 is fixed to the two-ply part of the metal sheet 18. By bending the edge part of the metal sheet 18 to make thickness to two times of the usual case, heat capacity at the connecting part 32 to the lead-out conductor 17 of the metal sheet 18 is increased, a temperature rise according to welding work is suppressed, the metal sheet 18 can be prevented from melting off, and welding work is facilitated. |
