PURPOSE:To realize a keyboard system which can feed many kinds of contents just by a single keyboard by using plural key switches incorporating memory type active panels, a memory time and a display circuit. CONSTITUTION:A mode selection signal is sent to a CPU when a mode selecting instruction containing characters, marks, etc. is fed by a mode selection key switch that is specially provided. The mode selection signal is interpreted for execution of an instruction. At the same time, the CPU gives a changing instruction for display contents of the key switch to a display control circuit 4 within a keyboard via an interface 13. A control circuit 4 transmits control signals 18 and 19 to a memory circuit 3 and an active panel 6. Then the contents of the circuit 3 are transferred to the active panel in each key switch via a bus 20. Thus a mode change is over, and the input of a new instruction is possible for each key switch by a new display. |
