This invention relates to a vessel for recovering cargo in the form of oil and timber from the water and the seabed. The vessel comprises a conveyor 5 which extends down under the water surface and is raisably and lowerably mounted on the vessel in order thus to make possible a variation in height of the lower part 6 of the conveyor depending on the level at which the cargo to be recovered is located. The conveyor is advantageously mounted pivotably on the vessel about an approximately horizontal axis transverse to the longitudinal direction of the vessel. <IMAGE> |
