PURPOSE:To eliminate false alarming and to enable infrared-rays (IR) detection with high reliability by providing a signal output part which outputs a prescribed signal when an IR detecting part detects an IR having a specific wavelength and a level detecting part detects a prescribed level signal. CONSTITUTION:An IR detector is constituted of an IR detecting part 21 which detects an IR having a specific wavelength based on the specific temp. from a detection range, an ambient temp. detecting part 22 which outputs the signal based on the temp. changing gradient of ambient temp., and a level detector 23 which detects whether the output signal from the amient temp. detecting part attains a prescribed temp. or not. A signal output part 24 outputs a prescribed signal when the part 21 detects the IR having the specific wavelength and when the part 23 detects the prescribed level signal. As a result, the false emission of, for example, a fire alarm by the noise to the part 21 is obviated and the IR detection is accomplished with extremely high reliability. |
