摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled apparatus which is capable of detecting the idling position from the engine speed and the differential pressure on the opposite sides of a throttle valve even if idling adjustment is applied to the throttle valve, with no influence of the atmospheric pressure or other. CONSTITUTION:An engine-speed sensor 10 detects the engine speed Ne from ignition signals or the like. A function generator 11 produces a pressure Po developed when a throttle valve is opened slightly from the idling position for the reference atmospheric pressure, on the basis of the engine speed Ne. Further, a divider 14 divides the reference atmospheric pressure (760mm.Hg) by the atmospheric Pa detected by an atmospheric pressure pressure sensor 13. A multiplier 15 multiplies the differential pressure DELTAP detected by a differential-pressure sensor 12 by the result (760/Pa) of calculation of the divider 14. A comparator 16 makes comparison between the output DELTAPX(760/Pa) of the multiplier 15 and the output of the function generator 11 and produces a high-level output as an idling-position detecting signal when the output of the multiplier 15 becomes lower than the output of the function generator 11.
