PURPOSE:To change over modes simply without gas exchange work by supporting a rotatable mode changeover fitting with a plurality of holes from the outside of an optical resonator centering around an axis in the rectangular direction to an optical axis on an optical axis between reflecting mirrors. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical mode changeover fitting 6 is supported rotatably to a laser oscillator fixture 1 from the outside of an optical resonator for a laser oscillator centering around an axis in the direction rectangular to an optical axis of the resonator on an optical axis between both reflecting mirrors constituting the optical resonator. A section between the changeover fitting 6 and the fixture 1 is sealed under vacuum by an O ring 8. Through-holes 91, 92, which have axes in a rotary plane on the optical axis and mutually cross at right angles, are formed to the changeover fitting 6, and modes are changed over by turning the changeover fitting 6 and selecting either through-hole. |
