PURPOSE:To obtain a simple printer at low cost by using a combination of an original paper provided with a pattern having a great heat rays absorbability, a thermal sheet and a heat radiation source. CONSTITUTION:An original paper 1, formed by providing a pattern 3 printed with an ink having a heat rays absorbability two times or more greater than that of a ground sheet 2 on the ground sheet 2, a heat transfer type thermal sheet 4, coated with an ink to be melted and transferred by heat, and a transfer paper 5 are laminated. The laminate is put between mold frames 6 (8 is a transparent push glass) and heated by a heat transfer source 7 in such a way that the pattern 3 of the original paper is heated and the thermal ink of the sheet in the corresponding portion is melted and transferred onto the transfer paper 5 in the form of the pattern. Also, by using the original papers corresponding to yellow, cyan, magenta and black colors and the thermal sheets, lap-printed color pictures can be obtained. |
