PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic sensor which is small, easy to assemble and enables a drastic reduction in the cost by a method wherein two magnetosensitive elements are fastened on a support member and after the treatment of a lead wire, the support member is bent to make the surfaces of the elements parallel with each other. CONSTITUTION:Detection ends of magnetosensitive element chips 10 and 11 made of a ferromagnetic metal thin film are fixed positioned facing each other on a lead frame 8 made up of a phosphor bronz sheet plated with gold or silver. Lead wires 12 and 13 are bonded on the lead frame 8, which is bended utilizing a recess 9 and the end 8' is cut away. Spacers 15 and 16 made up of a bias magnet 14 and a non-magnetic insulator are inserted between the lead frames bent and fixed. This enables accurate arrangement and positioning of detection ends of the two magnetosensitive elements thereby enabling the simplification and quick completion of the assembly work. |
