PURPOSE:To change the direction of a chuck with simple constitution even on the way of transportation, by providing a pair of left and right revolving shafts for freely rising and falling bearing box and connecting chucks to levers, which are fixed to revolving shafts with an attaching rod. CONSTITUTION:A bearing box 38 of a cable transporting device is moved above a coiling device, and a piston rod 40 is allowed to fall to grasp a cable, which is adjusted and cut by a prescribed length, with pawls 53 and 64 of three chucks 55, 56 and 66. When an air cylinder 58 is operated on the way of rise of the bearing box 38 to rotate levers 43 and 44 at 90 deg., chucks 55 and 56 are rotated, and therefore, both ends of a coiled cable A are bent at 90 deg. in the same direction, and ferrules are attached to both ends in the next process. Consequently, both ends of the cable are bent easily on the way of transportation. |
