PURPOSE:To attain automatic assembling by automatic machine by inserting both front and rear covers to a lower half from the upper side for positioning them and coupling an upper half onto the lower half for assembling both halves. CONSTITUTION:The upper half 1 is coupled onto the lower half 2 and the assembling of a tape cassette is finished by setting with screw incorporatedly both halves 1, 2. A couple of fulcrum pins 15 of the front cover 4 are pressed from the upper part by a lower ridge 1b of both left and right side walls 1a of the upper half 1 by coupling the upper half 1 onto the lower half 2, and a couple of the fulcrum pins 15 are positioned finally by a couple of recessed parts 40 of the lower half 2. When the upper half 1 is moved horizontally from the rear side of the lower half 2 and the upper half 1 is coupled onto the lower half 2, a couple of the positioning projections 47 are engaged into a couple of engaging holes 48 and the upper half 1 is positioned automatically on the lower half 2. Thus, the automatic assembling of the tape cassette by using an automatic machine is performed easily by using the shape of the halves. |
