PURPOSE:To enable azimuth adjustment and swing tilt adjustment in narrow space by providing turning fulcrum axes extending in the directions where transverse and longitudinal directions intersect with each other in the holes or notches for attaching a head attaching a head attaching plate provided in an attaching leg part extending of the head attaching part extending in the longitudinal direction of the head. CONSTITUTION:A rotating body 21 for swing and tilt adjustment is so positioned that the slope 22 thereof faces the longitudinal direction to adjust the swing and tilt into roughly a perpendicular state. An azimuth adjusting screw 20 is then operated to adjust the tilt in the longitudinal direction of a head 1. The turning fulcrum axis of the head 1 in this state is the top of a projecting line 18. The operator turns the body 21 in the longitudinal direction and finds an optimum point while checking the bearing contact between the head 1 and the tape visually and form an outlet level, etc. More specifically, the head 1 changes in the direction having a forward tilting or backward titlting attitude according to the change in the direction of the slope 22 on the top surface of the body 21. The turning fulcrum axis of the head 1 in this stage is the tip of a projecting line 17.
