PURPOSE:To retrieve accurately and automatically an optional disk at high speed by providing respectively a detecting means for detecting the number relating to each storage section storing a disk in a stocker and a stop position and a detecting means to detect the stop position of an ejecting mechanism and that of a disk mechanism. CONSTITUTION:In retrieving prescribed information in a disk 13b stored in the stocker 17, required data is inputted to a CPU 53 via an input interface 52. The CPU 53 turns on a relay 58 to the position (a) by an output interface 56 to allow a pulse generating circuit 57 to generate a pulse of a constant speed. Then, the generated pulse at the constant speed is inputted to a motor driving circuit 59 via the relay 58. When a photodetector 27 receives a slit 25A, the CPU 53 controls the pulse generating circuit 57 so as to stop the generation of pulse. The engagement section 63 of the ejecting mechanism 29 is out of contact with a cartridge case 14 at the moving of the stocker 17 and retrieves the disc 13b at high speed. When the photodetector 39 does not receive the light of a light emitting element 38, the CPU 53 stops a pulse motor 34 and the ejecting mechanism 29 is stopped at the 2nd position. |
